SQL Express 2016 support

Hi

When do you plan to have builtin prerequisite support for SQL Express 2016?What method or alternative do you recommend to use for version 13.1?SQL Express 2014 had a direct link to the Microsoft file when you selected the URL option, however Microsoft SQL Express 2016 direct download is no longer supported, what method or alternative do you recommend?

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

First of all run following T-SQL Query in Query Analyzer. This will return all the existing users in database in result pan.

Yesterday I received a call from a client that had a power outage and their UPS's did not power down their virtual environment gracefully. When SQL came back up, 2 of the production databases were in Suspect Mode

Sync orphaned SQL user

The following query can be used to Sync any orphaned SQL users after restoring a DB backup to new SQL server instance.

What is the command to truncate a SQL Server log file?

In management studio:

•Right-click the database, choose properties, then options.
•Make sure "Recovery model" is set to "Simple", not "Full"
•Click Ok
•Right-click the database again, choose tasks -> shrink files
•Change file type to "log"
•Click ok.
